Just cuz I'm a freak don't mean you can make fun of me

As of right now, it's one week until the big show at the Rendevouz. There's been a lot of drama revolving around my life the past few days, and I think it's funny that it's not even about band. Of course, not too long ago, it was nothing but band drama that was stressing me out. That seems to have subsided lately, since the band relocated to St. Catharines.

In a nutshell, here's what's been happening:

• After avoiding my mother for weeks, I ran into her at the mall. She cried, and I agreed to have coffee with her yesterday. She lectured me about how I never eat. She also tried buying me food, but ended up just getting me shampoo.


• My sister Jacqueline just got engaged to her boyfriend Frank. He left today to go to North Bay to be closer to his four kids. He'll be moving to Belleville for work soon, and after this semester, Jacqueline and Zander are going too. Jacqueline is planning on transfering to Loyalist College, same as Brenda.


• In the past few days, we've been contacted by Erika Moore, who's in charge of booking for the Emergenza Festival. We may be touring soon with them. We've been contacted by the Niagara Pulse, who wanted a bio and pictures from us. We've been contacted by Edge 102.1 in Toronto, and they want a full version of our new song, Freak.


• I've started slowly building my bass rig. I've got one speaker and a box so far already built. Just today, Kiyra picked up a 22 inch speaker and a smoke machine. Things for the show are slowly coming together.


• Today I found out that OCAS hasn't received my payment for my college application, meaning my application hasn't gone through. I emailed them, and hopefully I'll find out what the fuck's going on.

I've also had the past two days off from band. I got the website working good last night, so I've been trying to take it easy and not think of the band the last few days. I feel refreshed and ready for a hard week of band. As I said, it's only one week until the show. There's still much work that needs to be done.

But, that's it for me for now.
